The staff, the equipment, organisation - a welcoming friendly environment" Mandy
What's good about the way we play?
Research reflects the most important part of any activity is learning from the process not creating an end product.
Our play sessions aim to provide children with a spark to fire their imagination, inspire interest, give them time to explore and motivate them to take their curiosity out into the wider world.
We believe that, at play, children should be given the freedom to choose, to explore, to make links, to be creative, to move around, to challenge themselves and others. It is an important part of their lives and vital to their development.

Planning and Playing
Every session is carefully planned by our qualified and experienced Level 7 Early Years Facilitator, with reference to Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage document, to offer children activities that will enable them to develop a range of skills, knowledge and their self-confidence.
Young children learn best through exploring using all of their senses, being emotionally involved in the activity and repeating actions or replaying real life experiences regularly. The activities we provide are designed to help to develop vocabulary and communication skills, physical skills, thinking and creative skills as well as independence, resilience and most of all FUN! |
Throughout sessions adult co-operation in the child’s intentions is encouraged and we will always try to extend the child’s play without interference or direction by making suggestions or finding extra or alternative resources.
It is our policy to limit numbers for each session to help create a safe, comfortable and calm place for everyone to enjoy their play. |
